Is The Boy With The Cold Hard Cash Always Mr. Right?

A few days ago I heard the Madonna song “Material Girl”

(Above–A scene from the video to Material Girl.)

One line in the song is–“The boy with the cold hard cash is always Mr. Right.”

Do I agree with this viewpoint?

Should you agree with this viewpoint?

In my opinion, you should not concur with this stance.

We should like and love people based on their merits.

We should look hard past superficial qualities to see people as they are.

Life is brief and brutal. Let us like people for the right reasons.

Let us take today as a good day to take stock of the people in our lives and to see if we are doing right by them.

Divas Rule Telethon

A TELETHON to raise money for Haiti following a recent earthquake was ruled by the divas at the weekend – and raised a massive £57 million and counting in the process.

Movie stars, presenters and musicians stood side by side to raise money for the country thanks to Mr George Clooney who organised the gig.

There was some outstanding performances and here is Showbiz’s favourites from the night.

AND then there was also the legend that is Jay-Z…what a performance!

There Has Been A Reform In The French Public Transport

What I have been speculating for months has finally come true there has been a reform in the public transport in france,
The french were getting annoyed with the amount of money you had to pay for the public transport and demanded a price reduction of €2 as that’s what most of the general public wanted, the french president Nicholas Sarcosie has made a statement regarding this issue “As president of france it is my duty to make sure I take care of the general public and as I do I like to make sure that they are happy with decisions made , I didn’t notice that there was a problem in the public transport until recently when one of my collages presented me a petition signed by the majority of the public stating that they could not stand the high prices of public transport and wanted a €2 reduction and I was happy to oblige after a 3 hour discussion , I would never dismiss anything as I am a very truthful man and I would like to hope I have respect of the nation this is why I let this pass and I now hope that the public is satisfied with the fee to travel with. Also I have now taken a reduction in the charge of a family or two people traveling together
If you are a family of four people or more you get €4 reduced from your fee
And if your two people traveling together you get a €2 reduction.
I hope this suits everyone and as it has not taken affect yet and will not until March 2010 you will have to pay the same fares, Thank you”

OMG I told you this would happen lolz and I was right so you can kiss my feet and suck my toe lolz
I would like everyone to know that I got that translated from a french website and I don’t know if it is correct or accurate but please tell me if you are french and if that’s what was said comment on it and or follow me on twitter

It's Hard to Be Madonna...

…especially when Lady Gaga is effortlessly hijacking all your column inches in the press lately.

Methinks the harsh reality is: When your “Boy Toy” is 22 year old model and aspiring DJ Jesus Luz, you can’t always expect to look like a vamped-up Italian housewife as portrayed in your sexy new Dolce & Gabbanna ads between takes. Right, Madge?!

Maybe it’s time to finally let go of that mantle without a fight. God knows Gaga thinks she can handle it…with a little help from her “monsters,” of course!

Gaultier, 1992

Gaultier and Madonna in one of his rather revealing designs

There are few pairings of designers and celebrity that can match the charisma and intensity of Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier. His infamous cone bras re-established the performer as hyper sexual eccentric and created one of her many iconic looks.

Guy Ritchie: The Music Mogul?

Madonna’s Ex Guy Ritchie is following in her footsteps by carving out a career in the music industry – well sort of.

The Sherlock Holmes director has launched his own record company Punchbowl Recording which is named after his London pub – and his fact act has been signing the venue’s house band…how random.

Previously Madonna has stated that Ritchie is a bit obsessed with the pub but this is a step to far.

The venture, however, could work out as the group are in demand with stars like actor Robert Downey Jr. and Stella McCartney booking them for private gigs.

Ritchie said: “It’s exciting to venture into the music industry. It’s a tough place but I’ve seen this band connect with people. They have every chance of being embraced by a wider audience.”

Ritchie’s Irish rockers’ debut album, Journey, is due out on 1 March.
